A nest of Green Sea Turtles erupts on a sand dune just in time for sunset. For many this is the only sunset they will ever see. Only 1/1000 green sea turtles will survive till adulthood. But for those that do survive the treacherous journey past the silver gulls, ghost crabs, fish and sharks they will return to the exact beach to mate and lay their own eggs 30-40 years later. Turtles provide no paternal care and rely on laying hundreds of eggs. This is to ensure the strongest which can survive all the challanges can one day pass on their own genetics.
